What will our budding entrepreneurs revolutionize this year? Come with us on this exciting adventure – marrying the creativity of young minds with the professional input of our industry-expert mentors, to produce trailblazing, practical solutions to real-life problems.

Take a time capsule with us. Who could have imagined a sleepy fishing village enveloped by the Malacca Straits would be one of the most technologically advanced sovereign nations in the world? Digital marketing, cutting edge medical technology and ongoing scientific research are some of the hallmarks of its hardworking, enterprising people. As a nation never satisfied with the mediocre, who knows what our public housing or transportation system will look like a decade from now?

One of the ways YTB2023 seeks to accomplish this is to align their projects with the six pillars of the SGForward initiatives. We are a forward-looking nation, seeking to always stay one step ahead. Building solutions around problems that seek to Empower, Equip, Care, Build, Steward, and Unite Singapore as a nation. Intentionally immersing them in these national narratives, that they may create solutions not only for themselves but for the greater of their society.

In collaboration with SG100 Foundation, YTB 2023 aims at empowering our best resource – the next generation. Afterall, it is them who will bring Singapore to greater heights when she turns a 100-years-old. It is important to not only entrust them with the future, but to empower them as early as now.

How will we equip our ageing workforce in a fast-going digital society? What will we do in the present food security crisis? Can we find means to turn our massive waste mounds into useful goods?

This is where YTB 2023 comes in. Placing trailblazing tools of entrepreneurship into creative, passionate hands and trusting them to take flight. Not only do we want to alert our young participants to the problems in our society, but we also hope to inspire towards a better tomorrow.
